Pax In Nuce (Peace in a Nutshell) is designed as a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest thinking in relation to peace and conflict studies. CfP – 3rd annual conference on Peace and Conflict Studies

This year’s conference theme is ‘Shaping Peace – Local Infrastructures and State Formation’ and it will take place at the University of Manchester 11-12 September 2014. We welcome proposals for individual papers or panels on local initiatives of peacebuilding, their relationship with the state as well as theoretical and conceptual investigations into the issues of state formation and local infrastructures of peace.
