Call for Papers – ECPR General Conference, Oslo, 6-9 September, 2017

We would like to invite you to submit individual papers or full panels (4-5 papers) for the “Presidents’ Role in Policy-making and Government Performance” Section (S50) at the 11th  General Conference which will take place on 6-9 September 2017 at the University of Oslo.

The Section, supported by the Standing Group on Presidential Politics, will set up a number of panels and papers on the president’s role in relation to policy making and government performance. It primarily seeks Panels with a comparative outline that include presidential, semi-presidential and/or parliamentary regimes focusing on the role and mechanisms of presidents and policy making.

Please also note that you do not need to belong to an ECPR member institution in order to participate in the General Conference. All you need is to sign up for a MyECPR account.

The deadline for paper submission is 15th February 2017. You can submit your paper proposals (max. 150 word abstracts) via the ECPR website. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
