‘Robert Elgie’ Best Paper Prize 2018

The Committee of the Standing Group “Presidential Politics” congratulates the 2018 winner of the ‘Robert Elgie ‘ Best Paper Prize” Huang Ting-Yan for his paper “Prime Minister Autonomy and Intra-Executive Conflict under Semi-Presidentialism” presented at the ECPR General Conference in Hamburg.  Yan’s paper examines the potential for intra-executive conflict in semi-presidential democracies. Call for Associate Editors, Political Research Exchange (PRX)

The ECPR will launch its new open access journal, Political Research Exchange (PRX) in January 2019 and is seeking a team of Associate Editors to work alongside the founding Editors in Chief, Alexandra Segerberg (University of Stockholm) and Simona Guerra (University of Leicester). PRX will be published in partnership with Taylor & Francis and will aim to cover the full spectrum of Call for Associate Editors, Political Research Exchange (PRX)

‘Robert Elgie’ Best Paper Award is awarded annually for the best paper presented at the ECPR General Conference.  It is given to a paper that makes a substantial contribution to the field of Presidential Politics, both in terms of its originality and its academic excellence.
