The SG Presidential Politics is supporting the workshop entitled “Institutional Power and Interbranch Coordination: Managing Executive-Legislative  Relations in Presidential and Semi-Presidential Democracies” and organised by Timothy Power and Robert Elgie at the ECPR Joint Sessions in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 10-15 April 2018. Best Paper Award

The 2017 Prize for Best Paper is awarded annually for the best paper presented at the ECPR General Conference.  It is given to a paper that makes a substantial contribution to the field of Presidential Politics, both in terms of its originality and its academic excellence. After the General Conference the chairs, discussants and participants of SG on Presidential Politics will be asked to nominate a paper. Business Meeting at the ECPR General Conference in Oslo

The annual business meeting of the ECPR Standing Group on Presidential Politics will take place on Thursday 7 September from 12:45 to 2 pm in Georg Morgenstiernes hus, room GM 207. The meeting will be an occasion to get together and review the actvities undertaken by the SG from September 2016 to Semptember 2017 and plan with you the next activities.
