Standing Group activities 2022
ECPR JOINT SESSIONS
After two years of digital meetings, ECPR and our Standing Group finally returned to meeting in-person! At this year’s ECPR Joint Sessions, which took place at the University of Edinburgh in April, we were present with two workshops: “Changing societies meet political inertia: common grounds for climate activists and populists?” organised by SG co-convener Carolin Zorell; and we co-sponsored the workshop “Policy Integration of Human Rights and the Environment in Global Sustainability Governance“, which was organised by Andrea Lenschow and Maria-Therese Gustafsson.
Having had very fruitful discussions there, we are now looking forward to the next event in August: The ECPR General Conference at the University of Innsbruck. The local hosts are putting amazing effort in making sure that we will have a fantastic conference experience. The registration is till open – you may also “zoom in” as many panels will be hybrid. You get more information on the conference website, and you can find out about the panels and papers that will feature in our Environmental Politics section here.
Standing Group on Environmental Politics Online Seminar Series (EPOSS)

We will soon be announcing a call for presentations in the next academic year – do not hesitate to contact us if you want to present your work at EPOSS.
