The Standing Group on Kantian Political Thought is delighted to return to the ECPR headquarters for its annual Winter School which explores the relevance of Kantian political thought in addressing the pressing global challenges of our time

The Winter School will be held in conjunction with the Annual Rousseau Lectures and Conferences, which are co-organised by our Standing Group on Kantian Political Thought and the Keele-Oxford-St Andrews Kantian (KOSAK) Research Centre.

The main focus of the discussion will be the relevance of Kantian political thought for currently urgent and theoretically significant global issues.

The event will take place through a stimulating three-day programme.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lecture and Conference

Save the date: 24–25 November 2023

Held annually since 2008, the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lecture and Conference celebrates the Swiss-born philosopher, writer and composer and his legacy in the fields of political philosophy and moral psychology.

The event is co-organised by Keele-Oxford-St Andrews Kantian (KOSAK) Research Centre and the ECPR Kantian Political Thought Standing Group, in conjunction to the Winter School and Rousseau event 2023 edition
