December 2022: ANNUAL JEAN-JACQUES ROUSSEAU LECTURE AND CONFERENCE
Held annually since 2008, the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Lecture and Conference celebrates the Swiss-born philosopher, writer and composer and his legacy in the fields of political philosophy and moral psychology.

This year’s event, organised in association with Keele University and the Jagiellonian University Krakow, was hosted in ECPR’s home, Harbour House in Colchester, and online.

September 2021: SUMMER SCHOOL ON KANTIAN POLITICAL THOUGHT TODAY: GLOBAL CHALLENGES
Organised in association with Keele University and the Jagiellonian University Krakow, the Summer School will feature insightful lectures delivered by leading academics and offer opportunities to present and reflect on your work in connection with the continued relevance of Kantian moral, legal and political thought. July 2020: SUMMER SCHOOL ON POLITICAL EPISTEMOLOGY
The virtual Summer School on Political Epistemology, held from 27–31 July 2020, allowed students and postdoctoral researchers to meet top scholars and discuss key methods in normative political theory.

Organised in association with Keele University and the Jagiellonian University Krakow, the Summer School featured insightful lectures delivered by leading academics and offered the participants opportunities to present and reflect on their work with relevance to issues in political epistemology. April 2019: JOINT SESSIONS OF WORKSHOPS
The ECPR Kantian Standing Group organises a workshop on ‘Kant on Political Change: Theoretical Grounds and Global implications’ for the ECPR Joint Sessions of Workshops at the Catholic University of Louvain, Mons (8-12 April). Summer 2019: SUMMER SCHOOL ON METHODS IN NORMATIVE POLITICAL THEORY/PHILOSOPHY
The Kantian Political Thought Standing Group has applied for a summer school grant and the application was successful. Further information concerning the event will be posted here as it will become available. At the moment, the plan is to organise the event in June 2020, at the ECPR’s Harbour House. Call for Paper and Panel Proposals (now closed): The ECPR Kantian Standing Group organises a section on ‘Kantian Political Theory/Philosophy Today’ for the 2019 ECPR General Conference (Wroclaw, 4-7 September). Jointly organised by the ECPR Kantian Standing Group, Keele University, University of Siegen and two research centres under the aegis of the British Academy Newton Advanced Studentship “Dealing Morally with Conflict Between Deep Commitments: A Dual Critical-Hermeneutic Approach”; the two research centres are the Keele-Oxford-St Andrews Kantian (KOSAK) Standing Group and the Research Centre for Justice and Critical Ethics.
