Call for Papers “The Future of Methods in Political Theory” – ECPR Joint Sessions in Toulouse, April 25-28, 2023

The SG on Methods of Normative Political Theory is delighthed to host a workshop at the ECPR’s next Joint Sessions in Toulouse, France.

The workshop is titled “The Future of Methods in Political Theory” aims to make a major advance on these foundations by focusing more squarely on innovative methods of normative political theory, new understandings of traditional methods, and syntheses of previously disconnected methods. Our aim is to move beyond mapping, articulating and contesting existing methodological paradigms, to focus on positive innovation in the way political theory is conducted.

The call for papers is open until January 9, 2023. To submit your abstract, log in to ‘My ECPR Account’ and use “TOU024” as the workshop code during your submission.

The workshop will be held in person in Toulouse, France on 25-28 April, 2023. ECPR requires Joint Session participants to “attend only one Workshop and to stay for the duration of the Joint Sessions”.
