This email is for those of you who go the ECPR General Conference in Hamburg, and concerns 1) a joint dinner, and 2) the standing group’s business meeting, to which everyone is warmly invited.

 

Firstly, we would like to invite you to our Standing Group dinner, which will dovetail with the section dinner of our section on “Connecting Social Movement Research and Political Participation Research”. The dinner will be on Friday the 24th at 8:15pm, and will be self-funded. The dinner will be at http://www.abaton-bistro.de/ which is very close to the conference venue. Please let us know by August 17 the latest whether you intend to join us, and whether you have any dietary requirements, so we have time to make the necessary arrangements.

 

As always, we will also have our SG business meeting at the General Conference, on Friday August 24, from 12h45 till 14h00. The meeting will take place in VMP 5 Room 2098.

 

We currently do not have a very specific agenda, and so we would like to invite everyone to raise agenda items they would like to see addressed. Otherwise, we may simply have a chat about future activities of the SG and we’ll share any relevant information from the conveners meeting on Thursday 23-8.

 

Please note that you should take care of your own lunch and/or drinks as we do not have any budget to provide this for you.
