ECPR Summer/Winter School Grant co-financing

The Standing Group on the European Union welcomes applications for co-financing the ECPR Standing Group Summer/Winter School Grant for the 2018-9 academic year

The ECPR Standing Group Summer/Winter School Grant is designed to contribute towards costs associated with organizing summer/winter schools run by Standing Groups. A maximum of €4,000 (or sterling equivalent) per school can be applied for. This maximum amount is based on the School consisting of at least 10 teaching days. If Schools are shorter than this, the grant would be paid on a pro rata basis. The grant would be dependent upon receipt of a proper report and evidence that the School is running well. There are no restrictions on the use of the grant as long as it serves to make the organisation of the School possible, but the ECPR’s auditors will require documentation to support expenditure.

The SGEU Steering Committee will support a summer/winter school dedicated to EU studies and to the development of EU-wide young scholar network of excellence geared to graduate and early career professional learning.

The SGEU Steering Committee will select an application and officially sponsor it before the ECPR. It will also offer a grant that will match ECPR contribution. The support from SGEU is for organisational or travel cost and/or fee waivers for participants.

If you would like to apply for funding for your 2018 School, please complete this 2018 SG SS grant application form and forward it to the ECPR SGEU (sgeu.ecpr@gmail.com) by 20 November 2017, specifying in the title of the email ‘ECPR-SG SS application’.
