New online magazine: Pax in Nuce

Pax In Nuce (Peace in a Nutshell) is designed as a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest thinking in relation to peace and conflict studies. The articles are short (hence ‘in a nutshell’) and accessible. CfP – 3rd annual conference on Peace and Conflict Studies

This year’s conference theme is ‘Shaping Peace – Local Infrastructures and State Formation’ and it will take place at the University of Manchester 11-12 September 2014. We welcome proposals for individual papers or panels on local initiatives of peacebuilding, their relationship with the state as well as theoretical and conceptual investigations into the issues of CfP – 3rd annual conference on Peace and Conflict Studies

Following the success of the Group’s Workshop with Professor Carolyn Nordstrom (University of Notre Dame) in February 2013, the Group plans to offer another one-day closed Workshop followed by a public lecture this autumn.
