Duncan Black Award

The Standing Group on Analytical Politics and Public Choice, which is active within ECPR, has created the Duncan Black Award. This award honours a graduate student who has presented the best paper at the ECPR General Conference pursuing research in analytical politics that combines systematic theoretical thinking and rigorous empirical testing. The award carries a Duncan Black Award

New online magazine: Pax in Nuce

Pax In Nuce (Peace in a Nutshell) is designed as a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest thinking in relation to peace and conflict studies. The articles are short (hence ‘in a nutshell’) and accessible. CfP – 3rd annual conference on Peace and Conflict Studies

This year’s conference theme is ‘Shaping Peace – Local Infrastructures and State Formation’ and it will take place at the University of Manchester 11-12 September 2014.
