Joint call for papers – Standing Group on Southern European Politics & the Greek Politics Specialist Group (GPSG)

Continuing SG-SEP’s previous successful collaboration with the GPSG, we invite you to submit your paper proposals for our panel, Southern Europe: Back from the Margins or Still on the Brink? The panel follows the PSA conference theme of ‘Politics at the Margins’.

Please feel free to submit proposals on any topic which falls within the framework of our panel theme. We are happy to consider comparative South European papers and single country case studies.

Next year’s PSA conference will be hybrid – live and online. We plan to hold an online panel, to facilitate those who would like to take part from Southern Europe. The conference fees for online participants range from 20 pounds for PSA Early Career Network members to a top fee of 60 pounds for non-PSA members. So this is an excellent opportunity to take part in the PSA conference for those who may not have the resources to support travel.

If you would like to take part, we will need:

  • your paper title
  • an abstract (maximum 300 words, can be less)
  • your name, institutional affiliation and e-mail address
