Dear Members,

we are pleased to announce that Andrei Poama is joining Emanuela Ceva,  Maria Paola Ferretti, and Nikolas Kirby in the new Steering Committee for the period 2020-2023. 

Andrei is assistant professor at the University of Leiden and many of you know him as an active participant in our standing group on political theory. His research focus is on normative theories of punishment, criminal justice ethics, the connection between principles of justice and the problem of authority, the ethics of public policy, and democratic theory.

We are pleased and proud that Andrei will be part of our team and that he will make a very significant contribution to the development of the group activities.

As it is in our tradition, the composition of the Steering Committee reflects the geographical and thematic diversity of our group. Please feel free to get in touch with us with your ideas for events and initiatives of cooperation with other ECPR Standing Groups or other professional organization.
