The Master’s
The European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (E.MA) is a unique Master’s programme developed by 10 pioneering universities that today counts on the participation of 41 prestigious universities and human rights centres from all member states of the European Union. Annual International Summer Seminar

The Institute of International Relations (I.I.R.) of Panteion University of Athens in cooperation with SEESOX of Oxford University and the University of Piraeus, is pleased to announce the 25th Annual Summer Seminar which will be held on the Aegean island of Tinos, Greece, from July 2-7, 2016.  The theme of the Seminar is:  Europe and its neighbourhoods:  Geopolitics and human flows.

2 Open PhD positions in a Research Project on the Statistical Modelling of International Arms Trade Flows

The project investigates international arms trade using statistical network analysis. The
data come from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the
Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and describe the bilateral trading of arms between
states from 1945 to most recent period. The aim of the project is to develop and apply
appropriate statistical techniques for dynamic valued networks.
