We wanted to learn more about the members of this standing group and their needs. This is why we asked you to participate in a short survey a few weeks ago. Thank you to all who took a few minutes to respond to our questions.

For us, the most interesting result is that most respondents locate their research interests in the field of political participation. This helps us to plan future events like workshops, panels and sections. Although it is sometimes challenging for the Steering Committee to cater to the needs of this diverse standing group, most of the respondents like the group as it is.

Here are some more key results:

• Most respondents joined rather recently and became part of the SG “Internet and Politics” during the last three years.
• The majority did not attend any of our events in the past; however, learnt about the SG on ECPR events or through our website.
• The majority benefits from information distributed through our network.
