Relevant workshops @ ECPR Joint sessions 2018

Dear all,

Below the call for papers for the workshop on “The Citizens’ Voice? When and How Advocacy Groups Represent and Affect Public Preferences“, which was endorsed by the standing group.

“Dear colleagues,

The call for paper proposals for the upcoming ECPR joint sessions in Nicosia (10/05-14/05) is now open. You are cordially invited to submit a paper to our workshop titled “The Citizens’ Voice? When and How Advocacy Groups Represent and Affect Public Preferences”.

The workshop seeks to bridge and expand the research on advocacy groups and policy congruence. We welcome contributions exploring new frontiers in this research area, including studies of different types of advocacy groups, different polities around the world, and different stages in the policy making cycle. We also welcome studies that examine alternative routes to policy representation (such as parties and media).

More information about the workshop can be found by following this link https://goo.gl/RzYc4E.

Best wishes,

Anne Rasmussen”
