BOOK TALK & PRESENTATION – DECODING ALBANIAN ORGANISED CRIME (WED 25 FEBRUARY)

Dr. Arsovska will present the main findings of her two-year research study on criminal mobility, funded by the National Institute of Justice, U.S. Department of Justice. The aim of the research was to study the emergence and mobility of organized crime in the United States. Focusing on Albanian organized crime in New York City, it investigated whether organized crime groups move abroad easily and reproduce their territorial control in a foreign country. Dr. Arsovska will also present from her recently published book on Albanian organized crime. Other renowned experts in the field of transnational organized crime will provide feedback and will comment on the findings of the research and the book.
