In 2013, the Standing Group on the European Union has supported the
Summer School on Empirical Implications of Theoretical Models (EITM) in Europe
that was held at the University of Mannheim on 16-28 June 2013.
In addition to its grant of €5000, the SGEU has secured a grant of €1500 from the ECPR Standing Group Summer School Funding.
These resources have been used to sponsor participation of Ph.D. students from ECPR member institutions. Awards have been allocated on the basis of merit, but a preference has been given to students from poorer institutions and countries.
